How to make Money Online

In the past, I have been very reluctant to the idea of making money online because I always hear stories about online scams. Recently however, I've overcome those fears and figured why not give it shot, especially of my current financial state. But before I went any further, I first did some research and read some reviews on how these online money making gigs work and what was the best way to proceed. After a few videos from You Tube and blogs from various sites and forums, I decided to throw in the dice. I started off with PTC sites; PTC stands for paid to click. How they work is advertisers pay a website to host their links and pay money for a certain amount of clicks on their link. So for example, company XYZ wanting to promote their product and services would pay $10 for 1000 clicks, and the money would be shared between the site owners and the registered users clicking them. They payout varies depending on volume and the value of the ads. At first, it took me a while to actually make any money and when I did get credited, it was like $0.01 or sometimes half a penny for PTC sites I clicked. I would get, at most, 4 ads a day to view and when you calculate $0.01/click,it only adds up to $0.04/day. It was tedious and I nearly quit; but then I went asking for advice about the best ways speed things up. To go about this is actually have people working with you and for you; and really, the trick of the trade in this game is referrals - the more the merrier. The admin on the site recommended me to get referrals because for every referral that I acquire I would be compensated with a commission. To do this, I went to my friends at first. Some would signed up but they did anything to help me get compensated. The best way to do this was actually get in touch with people who really were serious and interested in making money, and of course invest some time educating them because it's not a quick-to-get-rich scheme. It takes time, patience and even a little bit of money invested (sometimes). But anyways, long story short, I eventually made a bit over $25USD credited to my PayPal account on my 1st week of effort - not too shabby I would say, especially coming from a very skeptical view of the idea to begin with.

So please, provide me your feedback, opinion, experience and success stories even if you've encountered any.

Cheers,
Duc
